The exhibition featured over twenty works, including installations, sculptures, collages, paintings, and films. At Lafayette Anticipations, he continued this obsession with transformation, creating a total artwork that defied traditional boundaries.
Visitors entered the exhibition through an emergency exit, immersing themselves in a labyrinthine show where works appeared and disappeared along the way. Margiela worked with multiple media, valuing references from a Caravaggio painting to a box of hair dye. The exhibition explored themes of existence, disappearance, and vulnerability. Margiela celebrated beauty in the fragile and fleeting, challenging dominant values.
