JULIUS

A contemporary fashion brand founded by Tatsuro Horikawa, a Japanese designer born in 1972 in Hokkaido, Japan. Horikawa initially pursued a career in graphic design before transitioning to fashion, studying at the Vantan Design Institute in Tokyo. In 2001, he launched Julius, aiming to create a brand that embodied his dark, avant-garde aesthetic and reflected his fascination with music, art, and subculture. Julius quickly gained recognition for its edgy and minimalist designs, characterized by asymmetric cuts, deconstructed silhouettes, and a monochromatic color palette. Horikawa's collections often explore themes of urban dystopia, futurism, and rebellion, resonating with a global audience of fashion enthusiasts seeking innovative and unconventional attire.
