The renowned Italian leather goods brand traces its origins back to 1896 when Guido Guidi established a small workshop in Pescia, Tuscany. Guidi, born in 1865, initially focused on crafting high-quality leather products for the agricultural and equestrian industries. Over the years, Guidi's dedication to craftsmanship and innovation led to the development of unique leather tanning and processing techniques, resulting in exceptionally durable and luxurious leather. Guidi's son, Ruggero, continued his father's legacy, expanding the brand's offerings and clientele. However, it wasn't until the 2000s, under the direction of Ruggero's grandson, Giovanni Rossellini, and his wife, Cinzia Maag, that Guidi gained international recognition for its distinctive aesthetic, characterized by rugged elegance and artisanal quality.
