Presented at 2 Bis, Passage Ruelle, Paris, from March 4–19, 1999, this collection took the form of a private film screening with red wine and popcorn. Linings became dresses, a cork became a necklace, and an actual eiderdown duvet was reworked into a coat—complete with detachable sleeves and its original label. The show closed with a Tabi mitten revealing a fortune: “You will be fortunate in everything you put your hands to.”
