The Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2000 campaign was a captivating blend of fashion and fantasy. Designed by John Galliano, the campaign featured Gisele Bündchen and Rhea Durham as insouciant dance-hall girls. Their enormous coiffures, velvet ensembles, polka dots, deconstructed suede, whips, and satin getups created an atmosphere that was both whimsical and chic. Photographer Nick Knight captured the essence of Galliano’s style, resulting in a campaign that remains iconic to this day.
