Yohji Yamamoto is celebrated for his avant-garde tailoring and distinctive Japanese design aesthetics, but while he has made significant contributions to the world of fashion, his musical talents are lesser-known. In the past, Yohji Yamamoto played the guitar and created music, however, he no longer pursues this passion and when asked about it, he responded, "Not anymore. I no longer have emotion for playing guitar or making music. “If I do it again, then maybe the title of the song I play will be ‘Goodbye’”.
