Rick Owens’ Spring/Summer 2022 collection made quite the statement during Paris Fashion Week. The runway show was an extravagant celebration, with Owens pushing the envelope (or rather, destroying it) as he always does. The SS22 collection was all about the fog machine, aptly named “FOGACHINE.” Owens customized this concert staple in three sizes: coffee table, handheld, and tiny stashable editions that fit into the heels of his new platform boots.
Following the pandemic, Owens stated his trepidation before entering Paris fashion week in 2022, noting that he felt he needed to ‘flex’ to not seem weak when compared to other brands.
