HISTORY
Released in 2020 as part of KANGHYUK’s Collection 7, this shirt reflects the Seoul-based brand’s continued exploration of upcycled automotive materials. Founded by designers Kanghyuk Choi and Sungjoon Park, KANGHYUK is known for repurposing decommissioned airbags into garments that preserve the original material’s creases, seams, and industrial markings. Collection 7 further developed this approach, emphasizing lightweight construction and the visual language of safety equipment translated into everyday clothing.
