HISTORY
From General Research’s Autumn/Winter 2004 collection, the “SUKA-1” jacket reflects the brand’s ongoing exploration of military and workwear codes filtered through Japanese street style. Drawing from the postwar souvenir jacket tradition, the piece integrates aviator functionality with sukajan embroidery motifs, presenting a hybrid of East–West design language emblematic of General Research’s early-2000s output.
