From Spring/Summer 1999, this nylon biker jacket reflects Helmut Lang’s approach to technical minimalism at the close of the decade. Reinterpreting motorcycle outerwear through clean lines and industrial fabrications, Lang presented lightweight nylon jackets that merged subcultural codes with utilitarian clarity. These pieces became emblematic of his late-1990s aesthetic—precise, functional, and urban.
