Debuting in Spring/Summer 2001, this nylon biker jacket reflects Helmut Lang’s utilitarian minimalism at the start of the new millennium. Lang’s reinterpretations of subcultural staples like the biker jacket stripped away embellishment, reworking the garment in technical fabrics and linear silhouettes. This approach defined his influence on both luxury fashion and contemporary uniform dressing.
