Released in 2013 under the Maison Margiela team following Martin Margiela’s departure, this suit set reflects the house’s continued exploration of surface treatment and deconstructed tailoring. The design features a cracked painted finish over a textured cotton base, a technique emblematic of Margiela’s longstanding interest in material transformation and artisanal imperfection. Single-breasted blazer and straight-leg trousers in white cotton with cracked painted finish throughout.
