From Jun Takahashi’s Spring/Summer 1999 “Relief” collection, these overalls exemplify his early experimentation with utilitarian silhouettes reinterpreted through a conceptual lens. The season explored trompe-l'œil graphics and industrial references, positioning workwear forms within a distorted streetwear framework. This piece reflects Takahashi’s focus on uniformity, repetition, and the tension between utility and subversion.
