HISTORY
Unveiled for Spring/Summer 2022, these sandals reflect Maison Margiela’s deconstructive approach to everyday objects, reimagining utilitarian footwear with conceptual detailing. The use of translucent soles embedded with printed packing tape references the house’s history of transforming banal materials into high-fashion statements.
