HISTORY
Produced in 2013 during Maison Margiela’s post–Martin Margiela period, this blazer reflects the house’s continued exploration of material nuance and understated experimentation. While rooted in classic menswear tailoring, the use of an iridescent wool fabric aligns with the brand’s early-2010s approach to subtle visual disruption, where surface treatment and light interaction became central design elements rather than overt structural intervention.
