HISTORY
From the Fall/Winter 2002 “Virginia Creeper” collection by Raf Simons, this jacket reflects the designer’s exploration of subcultural codes, youth rebellion, and uniform reinterpretations. The season is remembered for its military influences, layered silhouettes, and utilitarian references, often combined with an undercurrent of angst and restraint. This bondage strap jacket, with its tactical detailing, is a key example of the collection’s tension between freedom and control.
