HISTORY
From Spring/Summer 2017, under creative director Demna Gvasalia, Vetements collaborated with Hanes to produce a series of re-contextualized basics. This “Definition” capsule featured plain essentials branded with literal descriptors, part of the label’s exploration of banality and anti-fashion codes. The series was presented outside of runway formats, emphasizing everyday wear reframed as luxury through context.
