HISTORY
From Autumn/Winter 2002 “Paperdoll” by Jun Takahashi, these cargo jeans exemplify the collection’s fragmented, layered approach, echoing themes of modular construction and multiplicity. The season explored reconstructive silhouettes, often featuring cut-and-paste elements that emphasized both utility and distortion of conventional garment forms. Presented as part of Takahashi’s ongoing narrative experiments in early-2000s UNDERCOVER design.
