HISTORY
From Rick Owens’ Spring/Summer 2006 collection, often referred to as “Tungsten,” the Geo Vest reflects his ongoing exploration of geometric paneling and architectural outerwear. Owens’ use of contrasting striping emphasizes structure while maintaining a sense of deconstruction. Pieces from this era highlight his shift into more technical fabrications while retaining the raw, elongated silhouettes central to his work.
