HISTORY
Mid-1990s under founder and designer Takahiro Miyashita, Number (N)ine established its early identity through sharp tailoring infused with subcultural references and experimental material treatments. Leather tailoring from this period reflects Miyashita’s interest in texture and wear as design elements, aligning with the brand’s early punk-influenced yet refined aesthetic prior to its international expansion in the early 2000s.
