HISTORY
Presented as part of the Spring/Summer 1996 collection under designer Issey Miyake, this jacket reflects the house’s mid-1990s focus on functional daily wear and material experimentation. The season emphasized relaxed construction, ease of movement, and garments derived from utilitarian archetypes, reinterpreted through refined fabrication and proportion.
