From Balenciaga’s Autumn/Winter 2021 collection under Demna, this oversized shirt continues the house’s exploration of exaggerated proportions and hybrid wardrobe codes. Designed with the structure of a dress shirt but constructed in sweatshirt material, it merges tailoring with casualwear—a recurring theme in Demna’s reinterpretation of luxury essentials. The season emphasized deconstructed silhouettes and oversized fits, situating everyday garments in a couture context.
