Spring/Summer 2022 under creative director Demna marked a continued focus on exaggerated proportions and sculptural eyewear within Balenciaga’s accessories offering. The Bat Rectangle sunglasses reflect the season’s emphasis on sharp geometry and futuristic silhouettes, aligning with the house’s ongoing exploration of bold, statement-driven optical design.
