HISTORY
Presented in the Winter 2021 “CLONES” collection under creative director Demna, these trousers embody the season’s central exploration of reality versus illusion. The collection challenged perceptions of authenticity through replicated silhouettes and deceptive surfaces. This pair exemplifies that concept by visually imitating heavily distressed vintage denim while being constructed from soft velours, transforming a familiar garment archetype into a conceptual statement rooted in material contradiction and visual play.
