HISTORY
Presented in the Spring/Summer 2023 collection under creative director Demna, this hoodie is part of the first full runway collaboration between Balenciaga and adidas. The collection reinterpreted adidas Originals sportswear codes through Balenciaga’s oversized proportions and luxury fabrication, merging performance heritage with high-fashion construction. Shown on the runway as an elevated track-inspired outer layer, the piece reflects Demna’s ongoing exploration of logo, scale, and hybrid identity.
