Released in Autumn/Winter 2021, the Arc’teryx × Jil Sander+ collaboration marked a meeting of technical alpine performance and minimalist luxury design. Creative director Luke and Lucie Meier reinterpreted Arc’teryx’s mountain gear with Jil Sander’s restrained aesthetic, creating oversized silhouettes with sculptural lines. These bib pants, cut in GORE-TEX Pro, were designed for extreme weather use while maintaining an architectural, fashion-forward form. The collaboration received global recognition for bridging outdoor utility with high fashion’s pared-back elegance.
