From Spring/Summer 2002, this collaboration between Takahiro Miyashita’s Number (N)ine and NIGO®’s A Bathing Ape brought together two of Harajuku’s most influential labels at their peak. The partnership fused Miyashita’s rock-inflected minimalism with BAPE’s streetwear codes, producing pieces that have become highly collectible within Japanese fashion archives.
