UNDERCOVER SS2006 — “T”: a study in devotion, built from the most unassuming form. Jun Takahashi takes the T-shirt—ubiquitous, overlooked—and rebuilds it into something sacred.
Jackets, pants, headgear: all cut and draped from tees, each fold a quiet nod to Margiela, each silhouette a rupture from the expected. The runway, lit by candles, felt more like ceremony than show—models robed in garments that blurred ritual and rebellion.
This floral jacket reveals the code: pockets become necklines, cuffs become lapels—a relic assembled from fragments, held together by belief.
